Faith that moves
Keeping Jesus Christ at the heart of recovery and the way we serve.
We’re a faith-based recovery house and outreach ministry. Walking alongside our neighbors. Rebuilding lives through Jesus Christ. Serving with purpose.

We believe serving the community serves us.
Street Warrior Movement exists to share the hope of Jesus Christ with people experiencing addiction, homelessness, and hardship. We are a faith-based recovery house and outreach ministry rooted in compassion, humility, and practical service.
We don’t see a lost cause. We see a person worth walking beside.
Keeping Jesus Christ at the heart of recovery and the way we serve.
Housing, support, and encouragement for people rebuilding their lives.
Meeting our neighbors with dignity, compassion, and a willingness to help.

Humility is not thinking less of yourself—THE WAY WE CHOOSE TO LIVE.
it’s thinking of yourself less.

Our recovery house is a place for people rebuilding their lives to find housing, support, and hope. A fresh start doesn’t have to be a journey you take alone.
Fresh scripture. Every day.
A reminder that hope is still here.
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

“If I can do it,
so can you.”
My name is Jonathan Nun. I’m 46 years old and from a small town called Elvins, Missouri. I went to school at Central Rebels and North County.
I was introduced to meth at the early age of 13 by one of my older siblings. The worst decision I ever made was trying it. It caused me to spend almost all of my adult life locked behind a steel door. It led me to a life most people couldn’t imagine.
I lost both of my parents in 2008, six months apart. I hated myself because I couldn’t even pay my last respects to the two people who supported me, right or wrong.
I was the worst ‘garbage-can junkie.’ I hate that person today. I did awful things, treated people badly, and never did anything for good.
I decided to try to get clean on October 27, 2024. I stayed clean for 60 days, relapsed, and went to jail for public intoxication. My probation officer sent me to serve four days in jail as part of my violation for contact with law enforcement and a positive test for meth.
I had a few more falls, but God grabbed my hand, pulled me up, and said, ‘Dust your knees off, and let’s get back on track.’
I wish I could say that was the end, but it wasn’t. I picked up the awful habit of drinking, and that was a whole different demon. So I tried a different program, and it didn’t work.
I came to Street Warrior Movement, and it has been a truly life-changing point. All of my directors have guided me. I just follow their lead and try to be more godly tomorrow than I was today.
I love people, and I hope this reaches someone who is lost. If I can do it, so can you. I love all my guys. They have all been a huge part of me becoming who I am. With God, nothing is impossible.

“We become world changers,
one person at a time.”
This ministry is more than words can describe. It’s a calling to see lives changed through Jesus Christ and a true relationship with Him.
It’s showing up on the days you don’t want to, because it’s not about us anymore. It’s doing the little things that no one else sees or wants to do. How can we be trusted with a lot without first being tested with little tasks?
It’s about a unity of brothers who share the same goals and moral beliefs, and who truly believe that no person is too far gone for Jesus Christ to save.
It’s about respecting everyone. It’s about loving everyone, even your enemies. It’s about setting the right example for the next generation to follow and leaving a legacy of the fulfillment of God’s promise.
It’s about going back into the trenches to pick up someone where we once were. It’s about being fathers, grandfathers, brothers, and sons who can be counted on by their families to be the men we are supposed to be.
It’s about being accountable for our actions. I’m not perfect, but I do try every day to do the next right thing and make the right choices.
This ministry creates a foundation of structure not only for our residents, but for us as founders as well. When we are in one accord, we become world changers, one person at a time.
Street Warrior Movement Ministries means everything to me. This is what it means to me, and I’m just grateful and thankful for everything God is doing in our lives.

“It’s not just
a ministry.”
The Street Warrior Movement means more to me than just being part of a ministry. It’s a calling, a responsibility, and a constant reminder that God is doing something much bigger than any one of us. I truly believe God didn’t bring us together just to build a ministry; He brought us together to build the men who would be responsible for carrying it. Being a spiritual leader isn’t about having a title, being recognized, or being the one everyone looks to. It’s about being willing to serve, sacrifice, and surrender to God’s will even when it challenges us personally. I’ve come to understand that before God can use us to help change someone else’s life, we have to be willing to let Him continue changing ours.
What this movement has taught me is that leadership starts with accountability, humility, and obedience. We can’t expect to lead others into freedom while refusing to confront the things God is still working on within us. We can’t preach about surrender while holding on to our own pride, opinions, and desires. There are going to be days when we’re tired, frustrated, misunderstood, and even questioning whether we’re making a difference. But those are the very moments when God begins to reveal what kind of men we really are. Because ministry isn’t just about what we do when people are watching; it’s about who we are when nobody sees the sacrifices, the struggles, or the battles we’re fighting behind closed doors. God is building our character just as much as He’s building this ministry.
To me, the Street Warrior Movement represents hope for the broken, love for the forgotten, and a place where people from every walk of life can experience the transforming power of Jesus Christ. It’s about reaching the ones society has written off, standing beside those fighting addiction, encouraging those who have lost their way, and reminding people that their past doesn’t have to determine their future. But I also understand that we can’t give people something we’re not willing to live ourselves. If we’re going to preach restoration, we have to walk in restoration. If we’re going to teach forgiveness, we have to practice forgiveness. And if we’re going to tell people that Jesus Christ can change their lives, then our own lives should be living testimonies of that same power. We aren’t called to be perfect men; we’re called to be surrendered men who allow God to perfect His work within us.
At the end of the day, what the Street Warrior Movement means to me is being part of something that belongs to God and not to us. It’s understanding that every life touched, every soul encouraged, and every person brought closer to Jesus Christ is worth every sacrifice we make. My prayer is that we never become so focused on growing the ministry that we forget to grow spiritually ourselves. That we never allow pride to replace humility, personal agendas to replace God’s purpose, or recognition to become more important than obedience. I don’t just want to be part of a movement that changes lives; I want to be a man who is continually being changed by the very God we’re leading others to. Because God isn’t just building a ministry through us; He’s building the men responsible for carrying it. And if we’re truly going to change the lives of others, we must first be willing to let Him continue changing ours. That’s what the Street Warrior Movement means to me. It’s not just a ministry. It’s a calling, a commitment, and a responsibility to represent Jesus Christ in everything we do.
